Subterranean World

 

The prevalence of limestone rock throughout the region has supported the creation over millions of years of a fascinating subterranean world ready to be explored.

 

The cave systems of the Gouffre De Padirac and Lacave are both located within close proximity to Le Manoir and offer two of the most extensive cave systems open to the public in Western Europe. Both systems offer the visitor a fabulous opportunity to explore on foot and by boat the immense caverns, stalagnites, stalagtites and other rock formations that have made these systems famous.
